Documents to be submitted together with the applications for the establishment of a business as a Sole proprietorship:
In the case of the acquisition of a sole proprietorship
Extract of the Chamber of Commerce, not older than 3 months, regarding the sole proprietorship to be taken over.
Declaration of no objection from the owner of the sole proprietorship to be taken over and a copy of his passport or identity card.
Information on the location of the business to be established
Mandatory
Signed (by both parties) letter of intent or agreement to rent a commercial property

Valid Precario License (for Watersport activities or other activities on public roads/land)
Documents of the owner
Status owner is a (non) resident and (not) admitted to Aruba as:
A person born outside of Aruba who has the Dutch nationality and who is resident in Aruba for at least 5 years uninterrupted and is also in possession of an admission permit for an indefinite period of time or a statement of admission pursuant to the “Landsverordening toelating, uitzetting en verwijdering” (Admittance, deportation and removal ordinance) hereafter called LTUV;
Mandatory
- Passport or ID card (no driver license);
- Admissions permit (by right or for an indefinite period of time) pursuant to the Admittance, deportation and removal ordinance (LTUV);

If applicable
Certificate of good behavior of the resident (not older than 3 months), to be requested at the Public Prosecutions Office of Aruba, only in the following cases: the establishment of a business that will be engaged with the operation of a day care center (crèche) or elderly nursing home/care home and a security and / or security system company.
A foreigner (foreign national) who is resident in Aruba for at least 10 years without interruption and is also in possession of an admission permit for an indefinite period of time pursuant to the LTUV;
