Why register your Business
According to the Trade Registry Ordinance, art.1, it is mandatory that all commercial activities are registered in the Trade Registry at the Aruba Chamber. According to art. 4, businesses are to be registered within 7 days after the commercial activities have initiated.
The annual contribution to the Chamber is based on investment as appearing in the Chamber’s records on January 1st of each following year. Whenever a company ceases to operate, it is recommended to cancel the business at the Chamber as soon as possible but preferably before December 31 in order to stop payment obligations towards the Chamber, before the new year starts.
